7/5 King Triton's Tip Tuesday: The New Way to Enjoy Animal Kingdom

As I'm sure most of you know by now, Animal Kingdom has extended its hours to 11p! I did Animal Kingdom after the sun goes down and man it is SO much better! Just think, minimal heat, fewer crowds, totally awesome light show on the Tree of Life, and the new fabulous 'Jungle Book' stage performance. Plus, the rides are awesome after dark!

In the past I have always done AK first thing in the morning and high tail it out of there around noon. No longer! Going in the evening is the new way to enjoy the Animal Kingdom.

This is a park that is mostly outdoors which can be a little (A LOT) uncomfortable when it's July in Orlando. With very little reprieve from the heat during the day it can wear you and your family out quickly. Now you can have a late morning and maybe enjoy some time at the pool before heading out to AK when the crowds are starting to thin and the heat of the day is waning.

And don't forget to ride Expedition Everest after dark! It's almost like riding it for the first time again!! Enjoy Disney Fans!
