Hi, I'm Lara, Disney nerd and recent acquirer of an Annual Pass! Let me give you some of my background: At age 30

I have yet to really settle down in any of the places that I have lived. I find that as an adult I am as uncertain of my life as I was as a child. Due to this I tend to change my mind about where my life will lead me. It all began with college; as a girl born and raised in Texas I decided to go to art school in Boston, MA. Although I loved the Northeast, Boston in particular, it was not to be at the time and I moved back to Texas. After 6 years away I decided to move back up north and moved to New Jersey with my awesome sister. While in Jersey City we enjoyed 3 years of traveling and seeing where life took us. Again, my sojourn up North was not to last and I decided to move to Florida for school. As school has yet to happen and I work from home, I tend to have a lot of time on my hands. As such, I have acquired a Disney World Annual Pass and am slowly becoming quite proficient in indulging in my Disney addiction.
I was lucky enough as a child to enjoy a couple of family trips to Disney World and later it became a traditional Vacation Spot for my sister and me. We have been to Disney quite a few times as adults... yes, we're some of those adults without children that still enjoy the parks! We have even been to Disneyland Paris (fun, but just not the same).
Since I moved to Orlando 3 months ago I have had several people ask me for advice regarding trips to Disney World and Universal. I was even lucky enough to take several trips with friends & family to the Disney parks. I have to say that getting the Annual Pass was a GREAT idea! Living in the Orlando area, literally only about 25 mins from Disney, is quite a treat and super convenient for these quicker trips. From my apartment I can even hear and sometimes see (standing on my tippy toes with the lights off) the Hollywood Studios fireworks show. I'm really getting spoiled here, but that's all besides the point, I decided that since I can pretty much visit the parks at my leisure and have had so many people asking for my advice that I would start a little blog about my forays into the parks and spread my knowledge of what I am still learning.

I know that there are a lot of Disney Blogs out there already, and that I am really a novice when compared to them, but I will endeavor to help out at least the few people who might want to read my blog. I am currently REALLY enjoying the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival, which I had not been able to attend up until this year. The World Showcase is quite spectacular with all of the beautiful gardens and topiaries but I have been partaking of the specialty food items...yum!
