Happy Friday the 13th!! I hope everyone has a hauntingly good weekend! Today’s Fun Facts are about Disney’s Haunted Mansion.
Did you know that a popular ride theory is that you DIE on the ride?! Yes! You fall backwards from the attic window in your Doom Buggy. You “fall” from the attic straight to the ground. Afterwards, you join the party in the cemetery and have a spooktacular time with all the other specters!!!
The Haunted Mansion ride actually has 5 different variations at Disney Parks. Disneyland, Disney World & Disneyland Tokyo have the Haunted Mansion; Disneyland Paris has the Phantom Manor & Disneyland Hong Kong has the Mystic Manor.
“Is this room actually stretching?! Or is it your imagination?” Well it depends on which park your visiting. At Disneyland it’s actually an elevator which takes you underground. Whereas at Disney World you enter on level with the ride so the walls “stretch” upward.
