Disney World Ride & Attraction Closures

Ride and attraction closures are not a new thing at Disney World. It's a necessity for improvement and progress at the parks. However, it's always disappointing when you're looking forward to a particular ride only to find that it's closed during your trip. It's always a good idea to do a quick check regarding ride and attraction closures before making your Disney plans. Never fear, you will not be able to make a FastPass+ reservation for a ride that will be closed on that date.

Here is a quick summary of current and future ride & attraction closures.

Magic Kingdom

Big Thunder Mountain will remain closed until 11/18/16

Swiss Family Treehouse will remain closed until 9/24/16

It's a Small World will be closed 8/22/16 until 9/15/16

Main Street Electrical Parade will close as of 10/10/16

Animal Kingdom

Dinosaur will remain closed until 10/16/16

Dino Institute Shop will remain closed until 10/16/16

Disney's Hollywood Studios

Pizza Planet will remain closed until late 2016

Muppet Vision 3D will be closed 8/15/16-8/22/16

Streets of America is permanently closed

Epcot

The Sum of All Thrills and StormStruck will close permanently as of 9/14/16
