A little over a week ago some of my favorite characters were introduced for a new show at Magic Kingdom. That's right, at Liberty Square outside of The Hall of Presidents, you can see Kermit, Ms. Piggy & Friends in The Muppets Present... Great Moments in American History.

The best spot for viewing is right in between the Hall of Presidents & the Heritage House, this should put you right in front of the Town Crier. Keep in mind that there is no seating for the show and you are not permitted to sit on the ground (as it is a hazard to yourself & others). The show will actually take place above you. Sam Eagle, the devoutly patriotic muppet, actually pops out of the attic window of the Hall of Presidents building. The other muppets: Kermit, Ms. Piggy, Gonzo, Fozzy & Rizzo (even the Chickens show up!) are in the windows above the Heritage House.

The show is a quick Muppet-version about some very important moments in American history, including a song. Very cute and worth the time. My favorite part was Ms. Piggy's costume changes and of course her needing to be the "Queen" of the show made for a fun time.

The show runs for about 10 minutes and has showtimes starting at 9:30am has showtimes throughout the day until 4:40pm. You can find the showtimes listed on the MyDisneyExperience App under Entertainment. I would recommend doing one of the earlier shows as you will most likely be standing in the sun and it can get a little hot as there isn't much shade available.
